WE ARE EXCITED TO ANNOUNCE ROCKINGHAM SPEEDWAY AS THE NEW VENUE FOR CAROLINA REBELLION 2012
In moving the festival to the spacious and legendary Rockingham Speedway, Carolina Rebellion producers are able to offer a completely upgraded experience from the inaugural event in 2011. “We did a lot of things right last year, but some improvements were needed,” commented Joe Litvag, co-executive producer of the festival for AEG Live. “We heard the good and the bad, and we responded to everyone. And most importantly, we took action and made the necessary changes to make Carolina Rebellion 2012 the premier concert experience that the fans expect and deserve.”
In addition to relocating Carolina Rebellion to a more centralized location in Rockingham, NC to better service Rebels from across the Carolina’s, many other upgrades are planned based on customer feedback. There will be easier access to the festival location in Rockingham from multiple directions, all ticket prices will include parking to ensure quicker access to the parking areas, earlier entry into the parking areas will be allowed to better alleviate the traffic lines, and the inclusion of the new Camping and VIP packages will engage fans to arrive on Friday evening and stay until Sunday morning, thereby relieving traffic congestion on Saturday.
On the festival grounds there will be twice as many entrance points, a larger box office area for will call pickup, twice as many food stands, twice as many beverage stands, and twice as many merchandise stands as were at the 2011 event. Free water will be readily available and accessible at multiple locations in less congested areas. A VIP area inside the festival grounds will allow those with VIP tickets or packages to have a special place to enjoy the music, and shade areas will be readily available for all in public areas.
So the producers of Carolina Rebellion invite you to experience the upgrades for yourself on May 5!
